Thakur Ramveer Singh achieved a record victory in Kundarki, a Muslim dominated seat in Moradabad. He has won by 144791 votes.
Ramveer Singh says that I have got maximum Muslim and Yadav votes along with Thakurs. The main reason for this is their trust in me. He says that Muslims and Hindus have the same ancestors.
He has been contesting elections since 2007 but he had to face defeat every time but this time the people of Kundarki have shown confidence in him and made him victorious by about 1.5 lakh votes.
Ramveer Singh says that even I had not anticipated such a big victory.
Before the elections, some of his Muslim supporters made him wear a netted cap in a program. On this, Ramveer Singh said that this is not a netted cap but a turban of responsibilities.
He considers Hindus as well as Muslim community as his family, that is why he got a big victory in Kundarki.
Commenting on his opponents, he said that they have done the work of digging a gap between Hindus and Muslims.
